Startup Ciencia 2027

The Startup Ciencia 2027 call by ANID is aimed at promoting applied research and innovation in scientific projects. All documentation and deadlines for applying will be available from the opening of the call. It focuses on supporting startups in the early stages of scientific and technological development.

What is the objective of the call? It provides support for the creation and/or growth of science- and technology-based companies through cofinancing, technical and business validation. Who can apply? Private legal entities incorporated in Chile, for-profit or non-profit, with less than 5 years since their incorporation, counted from the opening date of the respective call, belonging to the category of micro and small enterprises whose annual sales do not exceed 25.000 UF, may apply. The beneficiary company will be legally responsible to ANID for complying with the provisions set out in the call rules and the subsidy agreement. Companies that may apply also include for-profit or non-profit legal entities recently created that have no sales. These legal entities may be incorporated and apply while the call is open and have all the technical and legal documentation that allows them to meet the application requirements. What results are expected? Technical validation of product, service, and/or process prototypes according to their technological maturity stage. Obtaining business models and plans and, in addition, commercial validation of product, service, and/or process prototypes. Supporting companies in the entry of products and services into national and international markets.
